The last month has been extremely busy, with several opportunities presented, and work to be done.
As such I've fallen behind on my blog updates. Nevertheless I've been hard at work on the DM Clocktower map for the last few weeks and over Easter break I plan to start creating textures for the map.
DM Clocktower Major Changes
- Modified "Roof" room of Clocktower to remove glass floor, creating an open space. Created beams to link the Flak cannon platform with the walkway.
- Extended pillars to Clockface room, and added small lifts next to the pillars.
- Replaced ground floor cog lift with water tank and small looping lift. (Falling into water nullifies fall damage).
- Added extra ledges to U Damage Power-up to make it easier to aquire.
- Added water tank to Gear Room floor. (Falling into water nullifies fall damage).
- Embedded water tank into Gear room floor so it doesn't interfere with firing lines.
- Changed fog colour from blue to yellow smog like effect.
- Changed light colour inside clocktower from green to orange/brown colour.
- Changed Gear Room doorway to outer ledge into a crack in the wall.
- Changed Clocktower "Roof" doorway into crack in the wall.
- Added ledge and hole under clockhands so if the player fails to get the Redeemer and falls they can still get back into the map.
- Created test texture for Clockface.
